As for my personal experience, this game had an amazing pacing. The controls of the camera and the movement were super smooth and responsive. The story grew more and more unsettling, all around a creepy atmosphere. I also really appreciate that the main character was not dumb like in many other horror games. I do however think that the game ended rather abruptly, all that story build-up left me wanting for more than that. Still, this game had me on the edge of my seat.
Personally, I find the story very generic and conventional. Now, the mechanics of going from home to work (and vice versa) over and over again became very repetitive for me. Likewise, I think that the game is unnecessarily long (much longer than it should be), which is why I got bored on more than one occasion. As for the ending, I think it was completely disappointing. The game isn't that bad, but it could have been much better.
This game was a great experience, the sad part is that I got stuck in it with the radio playing TWICE. So I sadly could not continue the game :(. It's at the start of the video! :D
This was as fun as Timberlodge! It was pretty spooky and well made! The actual sounds and environment was pretty scary and spooky! As well as the fear of something happening, was well done!
That being said, I did feel like there were a lot of down parts to the game; where I felt like the environment wasn't used fully to its potential as no actual scares of spooks happened with the character in any of the actual environments they walk around in.
Also the killer taping everything and leaving it in the store was a bit of a stretch as there was no reason why they would do that (or that's how it felt to me). Also we don't get to know the character that we play more for the last decision to really make an emotional impact. The character is silent most of the time and doesn't say much other than what the player chooses.
As well as the 'Society being bad' part of the VHS wasn't really explored outside of the VHS', so that too didn't feel like it fit the story much.
Those of course are just my opinions and thoughts, others might feel different. I still thought that your game was really fun and was spooky! Good luck on future projects and hope to see more!
Was A Great experience and terrifying atmosphere just feeling like the ending was a bit abrupt and the game could have used a bit of gore or atleast a drop of blood but I do hope to see more games from you in the future !! Keep Up The Great Work !!
Thank you for putting so much effort into creating this game! You can really tell a lot of thought went into the storytelling. I was quite disappointed in the ending tho- but not in a bad way: I WANT MORE! Awaiting the sequel :).
there was a bug where clients kept crashing in their path
then a character (the guy who threatened the mc for not letting him take the tapes without paying first) crashed and fell to the ground and he kept walking so it looked like he was breakdancing on the floor lol
one of the funniest bugs i've ever seen
moral of the story: don't mess with the guy or he'll come into your shop and menacingly break dance in front of you to assert dominance
That was so good! I got really invested in what was happening. Only thought that the camera was a bit too slow, as if it couldn't follow my mouse, but other than that, great game!
I also checked Timberlodge Inn and safe to say, that was a lot of improvement from one to the other. I like to see that you just kept the lore for both games. I wonder if there is more to come from Firemore. I would like to see that.

10/10 game with a very creepy atmosphere. Recommended to all players looking for a short horror game experience, the story is great!

fantastic build up story
i found a glitch when i was playing the first customer kept falling over i kept re opening the game it just wouldnt work
This game was good the tapes where good and the atmosphere was also good and it made me paranoid at some point.
