You play as Samuel, a solitary lighthouse keeper on the remote Blackstone island. Tasked with a daily routine trying to forget his haunting past by maintaining the lighthouse beacon to protect passing ships, Samuel is unaware that underneath the island lurks something very sinister.
The Beacon's End is a game attempting to recreate the atmosphere of classic PSX horror games and visuals.

Really cool game that jumpscare at the end got me!
This game was really fun i loved the style of how the game is and the lightning would not stop scarring me!
It's been a while since I had a legit jumpscare, and this game caught me at least twice. Games based on Lovecraft lore are always good. I had fun like I haven't in a long time. Great job =)
This was very reminiscent to "The Lighthouse" movie, wich I loved.
If someone is making a horror lighthouse game, it can never go wrong, such as this, good job!

This was a pretty fun creepy game, the ending was mid, not enough jumpscares, but the thrill of it was good with the scary feeling vibe, for a game made in a week it was good. Overall 7/10 Keep up the good work!

Either way it was an interesting story and I wonder if there is an oven in a real lighthouse. It for sure made me think about the movie "The Lighthouse" which was just a crazy movie to put myself through in my opinion.Thanks for playing!

I couldn't get into the lighthouse, was I supposed to go to the lighthouse to light it or follow a different path then from the dock to the light house?
I love the PSX style, the suspense in this game works great, but I didn't quite get what happened at the end. Anyway, the game is worth a look!

Loved the atmosphere, the graphics, and the SOUND. Oh the sound—it's phenomenal. Every audio cue feels intentional and it really elevates the entire experience.
The visual distortions are perfect. You managed to capture the feeling of being unease and eerie, this was a masterpiece.
