Gameplay:
Don't Feed It (2025)
A derelict house. The door is chained shut—there’s a gap in the floor. Something is calling to you from below. Your heart feels like it's about to explode with each passing day. You try to breathe, but it feels like you're running out of oxygen. The air smells of rot. You don't remember how long you've been here, only that you have one very specific purpose: FEED IT.
You have 10 days to complete your task, not counting the nights, of course. They told you to feed it during the day, not during the night. Nights are too terrifying.
Days are short here. You exist only to feed it...
DONT FEED IT is a game attempting to recreate the atmosphere of classic PSX horror games and visuals.
KEY FEATURES:

- One ending is not the end (5 in total)
- Inspired by analog horror and minimalist storytelling

what a strange hole
Also I find a bug, as you can see in my video below. In the night 7 or which was it, when the meat is in the room on the right side where the TV has to be, you can grab the meat through the wall from the first room you're starting at. Through the wall with the shelves with cans on it.
I think it is on some cca 20 minutes of my gameplay, but I'm not much sure

Really good game, I enjoyed it, as did many other players! I was on the edge the hole time and because I saw a thumbnail of one video here in the comments with the "Flesh monster" I was constantly waiting when it will come to me and jump on me :D But it didn't happen, because I only managed to finish two endings (I'm lame...)
But I gave advice to viewers that they can try this game for themselves and find the rest of the endings, so maybe it will bring you some more players.
Keep it up, man! These are good kind of games, I like them!

i didn’t realize it was a multiple ending game when I was recording it lol, I will play and find the rest of the endings off cam. But overall the game was seriously creepy and I can see the resemblance to fear in fathom. Cool game, Keep it up!

GREAT GAME!!! Now I didnt know there were other endings until I saw other videos on this game BUT, I enjoyed my ending. Loved the atmosphere.

Hi! I’m on macOS Sequoia 15.6 and I downloaded the Mac version of Don’t Feed It through the Itch app. After unzipping and trying every method (right-click > Open, System Settings, Terminal quarantine removal), macOS still says the app “can’t be opened.” Could you check if the Mac build is still working with recent macOS versions? Would love to play it!
there is a pink screen when i start the game, is there a way to solve it?

the game is bugged when i first installed it it got stuck on a pink screen with a grey small box at the middle

ikr... the ominous pink background and grey box in the middle won't go away but I can hear my character walking when I press any of the moving buttons. I'm on macOS.
I give this game a 4.5/5 here is why.
Being stuck in a decrepit house while feeding the hole chunks of flesh was scary. It made me feel small and afraid of what was in there. Jumpscares were also good some of them gave me goosebumps. One major thing I hated was how loud it got during the jumpscares. Made me take off my headset kind of loud.
This was a great indie horror game, hope to see you make more games. Have a good day.

how to turn off the motion blur?
Right now, there isn’t an option to turn off motion blur in the game. I’ll note this down as a feature request for a future update though :)

Really looking forward to giving this a go but currently the movement is stuck so I'm constantly moving forward and to the left (W+A). I've tried rebooting and isn't happening in any other games, a real shame.

Hey, just wanted to make it known that the Mac version of the game might be broken. I'm not 100% sure it's the application's fault, but I am only given the message: 'The application “DONTFEEDIT_Mac” can’t be opened.'
