A game that is good and almost great.

I enjoyed the story and the graphics / environment a lot! I wish there was more stuff going on though and objects to interact with. (would be cool to have seen the NPCs in the distance peeking around the trees watching the player etc.) The music was suiting although lacked variety (something I'm always willing to help with as a composer) and I could hear when the song popped to signify the audio loop repeating. The audio from the NPCs was clipping too and the high pitched audio from picking up the stones ruptured my eardrums.

Although it sounds like I'm being negative about the game these are all just things I noticed to hopefully help you. Despite everything I mentioned above I enjoyed my experience 👍 (the meta story telling was fantastic)

Thank you for your kind words :)

this game adds more questions than answers, and i love that about a game with dying worlds

Thanks for playing :)

Amazing game, I really do not expect that.

Thank you :)

An amazing story to tell through the medium of being a game dev. I hope you're doing okay! :)

Thanks for playing :)

Good game

Thank you :)

I will be playing this live tonight 1/18 around 530-6 PM EST.

Seriously the darkest and deepest game i have played on this site... loved this game and hopefully someone can enjoy this video!

Thanks for playing :)

The game was pretty great but I wished the flashing messages were up for more than 2 milliseconds. Other than  that I enjoyed that the creation of the game really pushed the creator to the edge. Honestly a great game that others should experience!

Thank you for your kind words :)

Of Course and can't wait to play future games <3 Defiantly notify me when you upload another game!

(1 edit)

This game really got me! Even if it's short, it was great nonetheless, plus it made me feel I was playing exe game and I didn't expect it!

Thanks for playing :)

Does your game have translation to Portuguese? If not, I'm interested to help.

How do I get the third ending? I know there is a one more endding. In the computer screen right?

The game is really interesting. The atmosphere is the biggest highlight in my opinion. I was really able to immerse myself in the scenarios and enjoyed every corner of the exploration. Congratulations.

Thanks for playing :)

Buen juego

Muchas gracias :)

I really enjoyed this experience! I think there's a decent story here and I love the aesthetics!

Hey there!

I'm a translator with a passion for indie games. I wanted to reach out to see if you’d be interested in having your games translated into Spanish.

Translating your games could help you reach a much larger audience. It would also make your game more appealing to Spanish-speaking streamers, increasing the chances of your game being noticed by even more players.

If this sounds interesting, I’d love to chat more about how we can work together. My email is Luciaescudero2021@gmail.com.

Thanks for your time! :D

I love the idea and the setting and the sound design is really interesting. Some of the elements did not fully connect with me (the text-on-screen overlapping with dialog and the desktop background bit took me more out of it than adding to it).

But the fantasy setting was so cool, I actually would have liked more of that world and a bit less psychological horror but that’s just my personal griping.

Can’t wait for your next game, you definitely try new things and stories, so that’s always exciting as a gamer.

Hey, Its a really good game and may i know if the binary code means something?

It does mean something.

Creator, please tell me that you're okay. That one ending... it's terrifying. I'm not kidding, I'm really asking if you're doing fine (sorry for being so direct).

The game is great btw.

Yes I’m fine haha. Thanks for playing :)

Loved the heavy darksouls vibe to it, the story was amazing! Loved it!~

Thanks for playing :)

A great but confusing game I wouldn't mind a longer game that explains more of the lore :) (Last game in the video)

Thanks for playing :)

I loved it! what a great game.

It's interesting, it has great ambiance and didn't think will like the story so much, is simple but well done in my opinion, great game!

Thank you for your kind words :)

Very cool surreal horror game my dude! I enjoyed this fully, the graphics were nice, the sound scape was really good and the way each character talked was trippy as hell. I had fun figuring out the story, the way you broke the 4th wall was pretty damn legend! I recommend this completely! Here is my gameplay video, sub and help my channel grow everybody! :)

Thanks for playing :)

Nice Game, Recommended.

Thanks :)

dont work  on imac

The story actually shocked me, and i LOVE that it integrated my desktop, even though i got distracted at the start, the ending really brought it home for me, thank you for making an absolute GEM of a game. I've got a feeling this is gonna be huge :)

Thank you so much for your kind words :)

good depth to this story- has all the things that kept me 100% invested in it. Atmosphere, tension, story, and some great curveballs. I give a more in depth review after my gameplay on my video. (as well as for a couple other games)

You can vote for your game to win best indie horror game of the month on my channel, and if you win I'll 3D print you a scene from your game! The chained hearts would be insanely cool imo.

Thanks for playing :)

I saw that you came and watched the video, hope i was able to provide some fun gameplay and good feedback!

Of course :) I really liked your commentary.

Hey! I played your game, if you're curious I review it at the end of the video.

Thanks for playing :)

You're welcome :)

Very interesting world you made here. Atmosphere really sold the story well here. I kinda wish the red text screen stayed on the screen just a second longer. But ocerall, not bad.

Here's my channel for other games I have played. https://www.youtube.com/@Levont

This is probably my favorite game of this year so far. The atmosphere, the story, the mysteriousness. It's all amazing. You outdid yourself with this one. Can't wait to see what you make in the future. Keep up the good work

Thank you so much for your kind words :)

What a good game, the story in this game was truly something made me get chills at points throughout the game it also had some unexpected moments meaning I did not expect what I had thought would happen good job and cant wait to see what else you create!

Thank you for your kind words :)

What a grim world. Keep it up !

Thank you :)

buen juego

Gracias :)

Thanks for playing :)

For what this was, it was quite good! Awesome story with a pretty sweet premise. Managed to get all the endings. Made a video on it.

great story

Thank you :)

Nice this was a really great game and both endings I like it but I think crow was a bit better ending this is exactly same  feeling when I was young that why my parents want me to be better but now I'm an adult, so I can now do what I want and choose what's better for me and not listen to what my parents want because as an adult it's right to do what you want, well I don't know if it's the same in other countries that grown up adult can decide what like to do I guess but forgotten my part and just saying this and I know maybe I'm wrong about this anyway this really great game well done keep it up!

Thanks for playing :)

Hay will be on android?

No unfortunately

Understandable have a great day 🗿👍

Looks interesting will try it later when I will have some time.

Thank you!

Hello, thanks for making the game! It was great especially for being made in 5 days.

Thanks for playing :)

Your recent releases are marked with a “prototype” status. Does this mean you intend on eventually releasing a full version or are they actually finished experiences that are merely misclassified here on Itch.io?

I ask because by the looks of things you have moved on from The Beacon’s End to produce another title. Leading to uncertainty about it’s future as well as nature of existence.

Hi,

You’re absolutely right—it was an oversight on my part. I typically save setting the status for the very end, just before releasing a new title. However, I do continue updating the games, and with enough demand, I hope to expand one of them into a larger release.

Thanks for playing :)
